Metalworking can be as complicated as you like, however getting two pieces of metal to stick together can be a lot easier than you might imagine. During this workshop we will cover the very basics of basics of metal sculpture through MIG welding and basic cutting tools. We will talk about the fundamental principles of welding, how to tell a good weld from a bad one, and talk about what a modest and safe home studio setup might entail. 

For this workshop everyone must wear closed-toed shoes and 100% cotton clothing from head to toe.
