Before the closing of TERRITORIAL: The Land and Us this month, engage with this powerful exhibit through a conversation with its Curator, Haley Clouser. Clouser will discuss her curatorial practice and how she connects the work of the exhibiting artists to investigate the far-reaching issues concerning the exhibit and the "advocacy for new approaches and relationships with the land beneath our feet."
Haley Clouser is the Assistant Curator of the Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art in Savannah, GA, as well as an independent curator and writer. Her practice focuses on decolonial strategies; institutional critique; the role of history and the archive in contemporary art; craft and materiality; women and gender studies; environmentalism; capitalist and labor systems; as well as experimental curatorial approaches.
