Organized by Éramos Semillas curator, Jose Luis Benavides, Ramirez's talk will explore his practice of "merging the age-old techniques of analog photography with the precision of digital technology" to celebrate "the vibrant intricacies of American culture." Ramirez works as one of the artists in the Chattanooga Art + Climate Project, which engages local and nationally recognized artists with issues of climate change impacting the Rossville Boulevard Corridor.
