Share an evening of storytelling, dialogue, and dinner at a special screening of Un Nuevo Pasado (Someday Soon), a moving documentary by local filmmaker Pablo Mazariegos. Through Mazariegos's journey back to his homeland of Guatemala, the film threads his own migration story with those of the people he serves in the community through marriage and family counseling. Following the screening is a conversation with Mazariegos and scholar, Giovanni Román-Torres, moderated by Jose Luis Benavides, curator of Éramos Semillas. Snacks will be provided.
