Join Stove Works on April 15th from 6-8 PM for the opening reception of Mike Holsomback and Sarah Tortora's two-person exhibition in the sister galleries. The exhibition will be up from April 15th to June 4th.

The works in this show consider the various social and political mythologies that inform our relationship to architecture. Taking inspiration from Classical art history, pop culture, and the aesthetic vernacular of public infrastructure (such as the American road trip), the works of Holsombach and Tortora employ these archetypes for a surreal fairytale, but one in which "happily ever after" is a tenuous horizon.
